Choose to make happiness your default 
mood. It’s important for your quality of life to 
know how to strengthen your ability to recover 
from sadness and feel happy again even when 
bad things happen.
 Avoid unhealthy addictions smoking, 
drinking, gambling, sex addictions. These 
addictions cost money and health they destroy 
families and jobs. If you can avoid sampling 
things like cigarettes, you can protect yourself 
from years of suffering.
 Choose healthy addictions cultivate good 
habits such as sports, music, reading, art, 
being outdoors. Find healthy things that you 
love to do that help you relieve tension, make 
them a habit.
